Full Assessment (2-3 hour assessment, a written report and a feedback session - £499):
The full assessment can be completed at your home, at your child's school or a combination of both. A range of standardised tests and observations will be used to assess sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills and visual perceptual skills.
Based on the assessment a report will be compiled and a feedback session arranged where the outcome of the assessment and the recommendations will be discussed. The feedback session is usually over the phone. Face-to- face feedback can be arranged but travel time will be charged.
EHCP Assessments: Assessment/report to inform an EHCP application ( 2-3 hour assessment, a written report and a feedback session £599):
A 2-3 hour assessment (as described above) will be completed. A school observation is usually recommended (see below for additional cost).
I do not write the EHCP, however information from the report can be used to inform the EHCP. Recommendations can be presented in the format required e.g. how many hours it will take to implement recommendations.
I do not write reports for or attend Tribunals as an expert witness.
School Observation (50 minute observation and 10 minute teacher feedback - £75/hour): A school observation can be completed in addition to the full assessment if requested by parents and feedback will be provided to the parents and school. There is an additional £75.00ph admin charge for additional report writing.
School Consultation (45 minute observation and 15 minute teacher feedback - £60/hour):
A school can also request an assessment regarding a specific area of concern e.g. fine motor skills, including handwriting; gross motor skills; self-regulation and sensory processing difficulties. Advice regarding the specific area of concern will be provided to the school. If a report is required the cost will be discussed at the time.
Short Assessment- For some children, a full assessment isn’t necessary. A short assessment focuses on one specific area of concern—for example handwriting, fine motor skills, sensory processing, or emotional regulation. This option includes a targeted assessment session, informal observations, and a brief summary outlining key findings and practical recommendations. It’s ideal for families who want clarity about one particular skill area or guidance on next steps without the need for a full, comprehensive report.
All Assessments: Travel costs will be charged at 65p/mile. If travel time exceeds 30 minutes a further £35 will be added per hour to cover time spent travelling.
-
Individual therapy sessions can be provided at your home, educational provision or online - £80/hour (50 minutes therapy, 10 minutes feedback).
Block of six individual therapy sessions - £ 470
Travel costs will be charged at 65p/mile. If travel time exceeds 30 minutes a further £35 will be added per hour to cover time spent travelling.
-
An individualised home program/sensory diet - £150 this includes the development of the home program/sensory diet and a 1 hour feedback session regarding the implementation.
Follow-up sessions to monitor the implementation of the home program/sensory diet - £80/hour.
-
Group intervention can be discussed with school as this is dependent on the number of children and level of need.
